29.06.09 Well attended AMP-annual convention in Berlin!
The employer assosiation of the medium sized contractors e.V. (AMP) arranged his year`s annual convention on June 17th, 2009 in Berlin. In the Maritim Hotel scores of guests of economy, policy and media got together.
An interested lecture programm had been presented to the participants.
During the convention the providers of the branch had the chance to promote their products.
The LANDWEHR team represented at their information desk the best available development of their successful software LANDWEHR L1 for temporary work.
The focus of the private general meeting in the morning had been the election of the Managing Board. The 11 candidates had been elected to the board without a dissentiant vote. The executive committee members named Peter Mumme as president, Theo Hermann and Helmut Seyfuß as vice-presidents and as well Mirco Melega and Hugo Schmitt for further members of the executive committee.
The CDU-secretary-general Ronald Pofalla opened the public lecture event in the afternoon with more than 350 guests. Pofalla pointed out that the union identify themselves with the under constitutional law secured tariff autonomie and for this reason he wouldn’t allow that there will rolled out a minimum wage level in temporary work, which would thrust the collective agreements. Furthermore Pofalla appreciated that they made a contribution of the contractors for the reduction of unemployment.
FDP-secretary-general Dirk Niebel gave his commitment to the temporary work branch as well quite clearly. He reported that the modern temp work services as flexibility instruments had become a fixture and gave a lot of chances to low qualified people, which other branches won’t give that chance. During the concluding roundtable he pointed out political reasons, the upcoming Bundestag elections and the view oft the mediat o politician and their work. They celebrate the AMP-summer party very traditional. At the representative office of Rheinland-Pfalz the members and guests of economy and policy celebrated with excited discussions far into the night.
