The Seed Industry meets at Warberg Castle

This year, the Seed Industry’s 10th Trading Day took place and was once again very well attended by 130 visitors. It was hosted on 14th and 15th May at Warberg Castle.
The LANDWEHR team was also once again present with their information stand, from which they are able to impart new developments concerning their proven Software Solution for the Agricultural Trade - LANDWEHR L3 (Agriculture).

Alongside the extensive presentation programme, there was sufficient time in between the breaks for the participants to meet the exhibitors. The LANDWEHR stand was well attended on both days.

This year’s topics for discussion included,”Modified Markets- repercussions for the Seed Industry” and “Genetically Modified Plants: what’s going on – who profits?” Prof. Dr. Martin Qaim from the Georg-August-University of Göttingen spoke on the subject and corroborated that the potential of the green, genetic engineering was much larger than what had previously been realised.

The event was organised by the Federal Technical College of Burg Warberg in cooperation with the Federal Society of VO Companies (BVO).

The photo shows a glimpse into the lobby of the conference with the different exhibitors (service providers for the industry).
