In the historical hall of IT-Dienstleistungsgesellschaft Emsland mbH (it-emsland), Kaisertraße, Lingen – Oliver Landwehr embraced 220 participants on March 22, 2011 on the LANDWEHR L1 „user-day“. The agenda was very comprehensive, with a lot of information of innovation and amplification of the successfull software for temporary work LANDWEHR L1.

„Together we can help!“

Oliver Landwehr handed over the revenues of the LANDWEHR christmas-campaign „Together we can help!“ recently to three charitable institutes regionally. With an operation during christmas time LANDWEHR called on the customers to buy user licences at a special price to back different shelter organisations with money.

On November 22th until 24th, 2010 the meeting point „temporary work“ took place in Cologne for the fourth time. The LANDWEHR L1 – sales team had been present as well. During the congress day, all participants could get all information about the proved software for temporary work. The program of the congress consisted of an introductory day, the congress day and one concluding day. The contentual main focus of the event was the theme: „Temporary work as supply of services“ – the conception of temporary work in the future.

The LANDWEHR-trainees Marco Cebulla and Lars Borzek have won the computer sciences contest of the vocational trading school in Nordhorn. Since a lot of years the development association of this school offers this contest. They could submit articles of software tools, software games, websites, table calculation respectively database applications as well as works to image processing, application in excel and collagen. They review the practicability , clarity and creativity of the computer sciences contests.

During the annual conference of AMP (Arbeitgeberverband Mittelständischer Personaldienstleister) on June 17, 2010 in Berlin, the new mobile LANDWEHR-stand has been used for the first time. The LANDWEHR L1-team presented, as in the past, the successful software for temporary work. During the annual conference in the Grand Hotel Esplanade the representative of the governing party issued their statement for temporary work.

Since a lot of years the CeBIT is an inherent part of the LANDWEHR calendar of events.
This year the LANDWEHR team will be present with its own stand in Hannover between March 2 until 6, 2010 at the time when the world´s largest fair starts. The LANDWEHR stand with its neuest information about the established software solutions are situated in hall 5 stand D 01. The presentation focus this year is in addition to the established software solutions, the new DMS - document management system of LANDWEHR L1, the LANDWEHR web portal and the server-hosting – well-fitting to the focus topic of the CeBIT „Connected Worlds“.

This year the international trade fair for cleaning, facility and services (CMS) in Berlin had been a complete success for the LANDWEHR sales-representatives. The trade which occurs every two years enjoys great popularity in the cleaning, facility and services branch. During September 22nd until 25th, 2009 the trade visitors had the chance to inform themselves at the LANDWEHR-stand about the innovations of the proved software. The center takes the successful LANDWEHR L2 for the cleaning branch.

Birgit Brauns company of personnel services exists about 5 years and so it takes reason by the management to search professional assistance in the area of software use. From the beginning of this year the successful software LANDWEHR L1 for temporary work, LANDWEHR L2 for payroll accounting and LANDWEHR WinFIBU for financial accounting are used.

During the convention the providers of the branch had the chance to promote their products.
The LANDWEHR team represented at their information desk the best available development of their successful software LANDWEHR L1 for temporary work.

On June 9 + 10, 2009, the Federal Association of German Temporary Employment Agency (BZA) arranged his general meeting 2009 in Berlin as well as the labour day of temporary work named „Temporary Work in change – how reacts the industry to the financial crisis?“. The event took place in the Media Hotels & Resorts in Berlin and had been well attended on both days. The LANDWEHR L1 team, as software service provider, persecute the meeting with great interest and took the chance for profitable discussions at their own information desk in the break.

For almost 20 years, modern time work GmbH (mtw) has been a prestigious company in the line of employment services. Previously, mtw specialised in employment service and staff leasing for the industries of technology, trade, commerce, medicine and IT. By the end of 2008, the company MEIDEL IT Training was assumed. Meidel IT Training is one of the most professional trainer agencies in Bavaria, ensuring that the IT-related know-how arrives where it is required.

As provider for high-quality industry-orientated software in Germany and Europe, LANDWEHR has been present at the CeBIT trade fair in Hannover for the sixth time in a row. The trade fair took place from 03rd to 08th March. Although the number of exhibitors and visitors of the largest computer trade fair in the world generally regressed in 2009, this tendency could not be experienced at the LANDWEHR stand at the trade fair. Due to many especially interested professional visitors from various industries, LANDWEHR was able to enjoy a large number of attendees. Thus, the management is one more time highly content with the results of the attendence at the fair.

diwa Personalservice GmbH in Munich has a new executive board. This is hence formed by Lioba Arndt and Bernhard Schwager. The company has been working the market successfully for 25 years and currently has 22 branches and about 1.800 employees, who work in the fields commerce/technology, office management, IT& engineering, aviation (diwa aviation), pharma & medical, catering and for diwa Medien Kooperationspartner (media co-operation partner).

The DISPO Group has been successful in the market for years. The company founded in 1988 is growing permanently, forming a corporation in the line of manpower supply with branch offices in various federal states of Germany. Equally successful are the three branches in Augsburg, Schongau and Heidenheim, administered by Managing Director Ulrike Schmidt. In Augsburg, the company has moved into new rooms by the end of the previous year. These were visited by LANDWEHR Sales Representative Klaus Quandt, who brought the software service provider’s congratulations.

The manpower supplier atrias, founded in 2004, has recently won the award for being one of Hamburg’s best employers! The award was presented in Hamburg on 15th January. The company came fifth place in the competition of Hamburg’s best employers in 2009 and thus presented itself as an attractive employer and leading company among the manpower suppliers in Hamburg. The competition was first brought into being by Prof. Werner Sarges (Helmut-Schmidt-Universität), the IMWF (Institute for Management and Economic Reasearch), the NBS (Northern Business School) and the Hamburger Abendblatt (newspaper).

Within an internal annual statement conference at LANDWEHR, four LANDWEHR-staffs got a present for their 10-year-corporate affiliation in December 2008. It is a part of the company philosphy of an successful software service provider to thank them for their long lasting work in the company.

This was recently stated by the company’s founder, Carsta Gutte and Peter Wesenberg (LANDWEHR Sales) during a conversation. On this occasion, Mr. Wesenberg presented a little gift from LANDWEHR for the successful co-operation which has lasted for 10 years.

The Software Company LANDWEHR is not only successful in the line of creating industry-specific software, but also when it comes to the health of our currently 120 employees. To be well–prepared for probable cases of emergency in the company’s buildings in Wietmarschen-Lohne, the company has recently purchased an automated external defibrillator (AED). This device allows quick cardiopulmonary resuscitation, in order to prevent sudden cardiac death.

On 02nd September, about 300 guests met at the first North Convention of the \"Interessenverband Deutscher Zeitarbeitsunternehmen e.V.\" (iGZ, Union of German Temporary Employment Agencies) at the Maritim Hotel in Bremen (Germany). The iGZ offered their participants a large variety of events under the motto “Green Lights for Temporary Employment in the North”.

Once more, the LANDWEHR Sales Representatives have proved their sportsmanship on 23rd and 24th August. The team, consisting of Jan Schnier, Tobias Scholz and Klaus Quandt, took part in the 24-hour cycle race at Nürburgring (Germany).

An even more intensified cooperation between LANDWEHR and its software customer, MOVADO GmbH, has been agreed on in Haan-Gruiten near Wuppertal in mid August of 2008.

On 1st August 2008 seven young people have started their vocational training at LANDWEHR. For years, LANDWEHR has intensely banked on educating the younger generation in IT trades.

Nico Neugebauer and Nikolas Runde were recruited as further personnel support for the LANDWEHR L1 Sales Team. Both new staff members enhance the team as Junior Sales Representatives.

For their outstanding achievements in a computer science competition arranged by the vocational schools, Jörg Deppe and Jenny-Nadine Stegink have been awarded a price. Both are currently undergoing their vocational training as future IT specialists (subject area: application development) at LANDWEHR.

With the ‘largest festival of the temporary employment industry’ the Arbeitgeberverband mittelständischer Personaldienstleister e.V. (AMP, Employers’ Association of Medium-Sized Temporary Employment Agencies) held their annual convention on 26. June in Berlin. Numerous guest from economy, politics and media met in the Maritim Hotel to enjoy a varied programme. The participants were provided with interesting presentations. In the conference centre’s lounge, the service providers of the industry were given the occasion to promote their products. The LANDWEHR team was represented with an information stand and presented the latest developments concerning the proven software LANDWEHR L1 for temporary employment. Intense converstions with customers and prospects arose at the stand during the day.

The Union Day of the Regional Guild of the Commercial Cleaning Industry Baden-Wurttemberg and the Expert Association Building Services Baden-Wurttemberg e.V. took place from 18. to 19. June in Pforzheim. Participants were given the occasion to listen to a specialised presentation by LANDWEHR Computer und Software GmbH. The LANDWEHR team consisting of Marc Linkert (LANDWEHR Management), Marco Töben (LANDWEHR Support) and David Funke (LANDWEHR Sales), informed about the subject “One Year Posting of Workers Act – on the Safe Side with the Right Software”.

Recently, a short celebration was held by Marc Linkert (representing the Executive Board of LANDWEHR COMPUTER und Software GmbH) to say goodbye to Mr. Werner Meinert from the LANDWEHR L2 User Group. Mr. Meinert had been part of the User Group since its foundation and played an important role in the further development of the software for the Building Cleaning Trade. Mr. Linkert presented Mr. Meinert with a present and thanked him for his long term service and partnership.

The iGZ celebrated their 10th anniversary with a federal congress on 3rd and 4th June. About 400 participants were welcomed in the Grand Elysee Hotel in Hamburg, among them the LANDWEHR-Team. IGZ, the largest association of temporary employment agencies regarding the number of members, offered a versatile program under the motto “iGZ makes temporary employment fairer”. In addition to various presentations, entertainment programmes in the evenings and the general meeting, an exhibition was arranged by the service providers of the industry. The LANDWEHR L1 team presented at their stand latest information about the approved software solution for the temporary employment sector. For the first time, also the Polish employees of LANDWEHR were at the premises. They had intensive conversations with many interested visitors being able to give first-hand information about the situation of the temporary employment sector in Poland.

From 29. to 31. May, the 28th International Cereal Trade Convention took place in Salzburg. For the first time, the LANDWEHR L3 Team was represented with a stand to inform about the proved software solutions by the LANDWEHR Company. In the centre of attention was the software LANDWEHR L3 (Agriculture) for the agricultural trade. The convention offering various speeches and discussions is organised by the Research Institute for Seed Processing and the Federal Committee of the Austrian Mill and Compound Feed Industry. Event location was the Institute for Promotion of Trade and Industry of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Salzburg.

Four LANDWEHR employees took part in 19th Lingen City Run on 31 May and proved how fit they are. Blessed with good weather and under the eyes of a large audience they ran their circuit through the city of Lingen. With 1711 runners in 12 categories, this year the Organisers were able to set a new record number of participants.

This year, the Seed Industry’s 10th Trading Day took place and was once again very well attended by 130 visitors. It was hosted on 14th and 15th May at Warberg Castle.
The LANDWEHR team was also once again present with their information stand, from which they are able to impart new developments concerning their proven Software Solution for the Agricultural Trade - LANDWEHR L3 (Agriculture).

As the only German Software Service Provider in the sector, LANDWEHR Computer und Software GmbH exhibited at the 22nd International ISSA Interclean Trade Fair in Amsterdam which ran from 6th until 9th May. LANDWEHR made its second appearance at the fair on a stand in East Hall 4, in the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre. It presented its proven LANDWEHR L2 Software Solutions for the Industrial Cleaning Sector. Over the 4 day period many interesting conversations were held and a few, new contacts were made.

This year Burg Warberg’s Higher Technical College’s Animal Foodstuffs Trade convention took place on 6 & 7 May in association with The German Society for Animal Food e.V. (DVT). It is of special importance as it has strongly been influenced by the current day’s political events. Conversations relating to the current rise in prices and scarcity of agricultural foods stuffs and food produce, were full of concern. Also, it is no wonder that markets, prices and food stuffs availability were such huge topics of conversation with a relatively large number of people (around 150) taking part. The LANDWEHR L3-Team were present for the 2 day event as exhibitors and were able to provide information about the software LANDWEHR L3 Agriculture in the customary manner. During the event’s breaks, LANDWEHR’s Information stand was very busy and the team was able to take the opportunity to make many new contacts.

The 3rd AÜG-Network Federation Congress offered participants a diverse programme with many prestigious speakers. The guests appearing on 28th April in Detmold, included representatives from three of the biggest temporary employment agencies - Volker Homburg, Federation Chairman iGZ; Ludger Hinsen, Chief Managing Director BZA; and AMP Legal Advisor, RA Claus-G. Schneider.
Additionally, LANDWEHR Computer und Software GmbH were present as the service provider for the Temporary Employment Sector. Their information stand was situated in the Detmold Summer Theatre, from where they were able to divulge a wide range of information. The LANDWEHR L1-Team was also available (in the customary, professional, manner) to offer news on the proven software solutions for the Temporary Employment Sector.

On 22nd and 23rd April, the Bundesverband Deutscher Zeitarbeitsunternehmen, BZA (Federal Association of German Temporary Employment Agencies) held their general meeting for 2008 and arranged an employers’ day in Cologne. The theme was “Tomorrow’s Labour Market”. The event, which took place in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cologne was well attended on both days. As the main software service provider of the industry, the LANDWEHR L1 team attended the event with great interest and took the opportunity to conduct constructive conversations during the convention’s breaks.

On 3rd April 2008 the iGZ State Convention of Rhineland-Palatinate/Saarland took part in the series of Federal State Conventions organised by the Association of German Temporary Employment Agencies (iGZ). The convention’s location was the FAVORITE Park Hotel in Mainz. The convention’s motto “Temporary Employment in the South West, Flexible Pillar of the South West” ran through the event like a golden thread. Thus, once again another exploratory programme expected a large number of guests to attend. Additionally, a trade exhibition also took place where the industry providers were able to present & prove their flexible services.

On 01st April 2008, the number of employees at Landwehr Computer und Software GmbH increased further: seven new recruits were placed. Apart from the new colleagues responsible for establishing branch offices in Poland and Austria (details in a special article), two further employees have been taken on for the Sales Division in Germany. Here, Mr. Jürgen Lammers and Mr. Nico Neugebauer will be deployed as junior sales representatives for the software LANDWEHR L1. Mrs. Elke Müser has taken on the role as the Management’s Assistant on 1st April 2008. In the future, she will care for the Management’s Administration.

In the face of continuous globalisation, the LANDWEHR Company also invests increasingly in the further language training of its employees. In order to provide the increasing number of foreign customers with services equal to those as offered to the German customers, adequate communication in the English language is of great significance. Thus, a number of employees from individual departments (Administration, Sales, Support etc.) form small groups and undergo language training during office hours which has already begun and will last for several months.

The head office of LANDWEHR Computer und Software GmbH in Wietmarschen-Lohne is currently being expanded by another office building. In order to offer our customers yet more services (in combination with the approved software solutions) a further office building has been added to the existing complex of buildings.

The presence of LANDWEHR Computer und Software GmbH at the CeBIT in Hannover, which took place from 4. – 9. March in 2008, was a complete success! During the course of the trade fair, the LANDWEHR stand was well attended. The CeBIT also reported a positive outcome this year. Although the trade fair was one day less than previous years, the total number of visitors increased by three per cent to 495 000.

The LANDWEHR Support Department is increasing further. On 01st March, the department, which has already grown to 40 employees, received further backup from Michael Müller and Thomas Plüdemann. Both of them will be placed in the area of the software LANDWEHR L1 for the temporary employment sector.

Around 200 participants accepted the invitation by the iGZ (Interessenverband Deutscher Zeitarbeitsunternehmen, i.e. German Temporary Employment Agencies' Association) to the first Federal Convention in North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW) on 13. February. Under the motto \"Bull's Eye Temporary Employment - NRW economy remains great with a flexible workforce”, an interesting agenda was provided for the iGZ member companies, temporary employment agencies and representatives of employment offices, customer enterprises and trade unions.

On 01. February 2008, the AB Nord GmbH & Co KG moved into its newly constructed office building in Moormerland, Eastern Friesland. With these new offices, the AB Nord emphasizes the positive trend of manpower supply, and it is well prepared for a successful future. Apart from the 450 square metres occupied on the ground floor, the upper floor still provides an area of 350 square metres for further offices. Thus, plenty of space is provided to allow for consultation, placement and employment in a pleasant atmosphere.

Over the past few months, LANDWEHR has been dealing with the new / future Airbus Supplier Management Concept (ASM) and has implemented this in the programming. This new software module was presented to a large variety of companies at the office premises in Wietmarschen-Lohne by LANDWEHR on 31.01.2008.
