iGZ State Convention in Mainz presenting flexible service providers from the industry!
On 3rd April 2008 the iGZ State Convention of Rhineland-Palatinate/Saarland took part in the series of Federal State Conventions organised by the Association of German Temporary Employment Agencies (iGZ). The convention’s location was the FAVORITE Park Hotel in Mainz. The convention’s motto “Temporary Employment in the South West, Flexible Pillar of the South West” ran through the event like a golden thread. Thus, once again another exploratory programme expected a large number of guests to attend. Additionally, a trade exhibition also took place where the industry providers were able to present & prove their flexible services.
The LANDWEHR team was also present with an information stand, which provided the visitors with the latest information concerning the software LANDWEHR L1 (developed specially for temporary employment agencies by LANDWEHR) and offered the customary professional & congenial atmosphere. The leading software developer in the field was able to demonstrate (during many conversations) its flexibility in terms of software, with particular regard to the numerous ground-breaking developments.
The new election of the Federal State’s Representatives for Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland took place within the convention’s programme (which was crammed with high-class presentations). Following a one minute vote, those elected were Daniela Stierle-Petri for Rhineland-Palatinate and Petra Böhme for Saarland. The iGZ’s claim for the inclusion of the industry in the application of the Posting of Workers Act, and for minimum wages under the Collective Bargaining Agreement was once more affirmed at the Federal State Convention. “To human dignity belong decent wages”, said iGZ Federal Chief Executive and attorney Werner Stolz. Further developments of this issue are also likely to be the principal content of the next Federal Convention, which will take place on 03rd and 04th June in Hamburg. The LANDWEHR team is already looking forward to this date!
