25.06.09 BZA asked for labour day of temorary work in Berlin!



On June 9 + 10, 2009, the Federal Association of German Temporary Employment Agency (BZA) arranged his general meeting 2009 in Berlin as well as the labour day of temporary work named „Temporary Work in change – how reacts the industry to the financial crisis?“. The event took place in the Media Hotels & Resorts in Berlin and had been well attended on both days. The LANDWEHR L1 team, as software service provider, persecute the meeting with great interest and took the chance for profitable discussions at their own information desk in the break.

The meeting of members on June 9, 2009 has been effected by the presentation of Volker Enkerts (president of BZA) and Ludger Hinsen (general manager of BZA). The title was „The actual situation of temporary work – how react the industry and BZA to the economical crisis?“
Enkerts pointed out that the market of temporary work ist actually divided, 35.000 qualified employees had been searched. The market opening of the industry has to be advanced. The cut in jobs has bottomed out and is starting to climb out of its recession. If the rebound starts, the temporary worker will be the first one, who will be re-employed. Subsequent to the explanations there occurs a discussion with the BZA executive committee.

The labour day of temporary work on June 10, 2009 has been apppointed by various specialized lectures and workshops, which refer to the subject „Temporary work in change – how reacts the industry?“ very multivariously. The discussion in the afternoon at the end of the two-day event with Dirk Niebel (secretary general of the FDP), member of the Bundestag Ottmar Schreiner, senator of commerce of Berlin Harald Wolf and the general manager of BZA Ludger Hinsen emphasized the fronts between the political camps. They argued about the question: „Unleash or regulate – how much free is temporary work after the Bundetag elections?“. Kerstin Schwenn, the editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung presents the event. Wolf and Schreiner demand bigger regulations of temporary work, at the other side Niebel und Hinsen pointed out the amenities of flexibility of the working world. Futurologist Matthias Horx had represented in his lecture that there ist no way around.
